Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by Ifiok O — 08 Nov 2009
Zorro has always been one of the most fascinating pulp heroes, considering the fact that he's been interpreted and adapted into comics, television, and of course, movies. In this particular one, we see a passing of the mantle, a blossoming romance, and old scores being settled.
The swordplay is amazing, and the moments of comedy are pretty entertaining. I would definitely call this a successful adaptation.
