Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by Guido S — 03 Feb 2014
I watched this shortly after 2013's The Lone Ranger, and while I didn't like that one, this one was similar, but ever so slightly better. Anthony Hopkins was the former Zorro, but after being imprisoned, his daughter taken and his wife killed, he seeks to get revenge.
He enlists the help of Antonio Banderas to get his revenge. Like the other film, this one seems to lose its way about midway through. It doesn't take as long and thankfully, gets back on track by the end.
The cast is pretty solid and the action good for what it is.
