Review of The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932) by Jarryd R — 29 Nov 2006
Fu Manchu wants to find the tomb of Ghengis Khan in a bid for world domination. Jolly good old Englishmen have to stop him. Delightfully perverse horror with Boris Karloff and Myrna Loy (did someone like read my mind 70 years ago?!).
Some absolutely ingenious torture scenes (take note Casino Royale). Probably not one to watch if you are sensitive to early 20th century Hollywood racial stereotyping.
