Review of The Mask (1994) by Andreas O — 15 Jun 2011
I remember a time when Jim Carrey was considered the pinnacle of comedy, before people started to get fed up with his hyperactive antics. The Mask is an interesting comedy, really, as they basically dropped the leash on him in it.
Some parts are really funny, some obnoxious and annoying as hell. However, there is a bizarre charm to the movie which - in my opinion - makes it hard to dislike.
