Review of The Marine (2006) by Nick B — 05 Feb 2011
Once again proof that a villain can make a bad action movie good. Robert Patrick is awesome in every scene he's in, and things usually suck when he isn't involved. The only thing that really hurt the movie is the odd choices made to have a few groan inducing comedic moments that aren't funny and feel oddly out of place. But then again, this was a WWE film.. that's pretty much their forte.
Two stars for Robert Patrick, 1/2 for Kelly Carlson and 1/2 for Patrick's death.
