Review of The Marc Pease Experience (2009) by Kris S — 18 Jan 2011
Jason Schwartzman and Ben Stiller casually sleepwalk through their respective parts as an ex-high schooler and the two-faced teacher who raised him. The script is muddled with poorly executed drama and plotting, and the laughs are spare.
Relying on its nerdy-chic and the draw of its leads to get by. This is direct-to-DVD fodder done for the paychecks, or in the case of director Todd Louiso, the experience.
