Review of The Manxman (1929) by Daniel M — 24 Dec 2007
First of all, this movie was over long. I looked at the case, and it said that it was 83 minutes long, but that was a lie. It ended up running for almost 120. But anyway, I liked this movie when it was first starting out, but then it became very melodramatic, and depressing.
And it also seemed kind of pointless after a while. But the acting, and directing was top-notch.
