Review of The Manchurian Candidate (2004) by Sarah M — 08 Feb 2009
'Not exactly for the faint of heart, but this film was extremely intriguing and provided much food for thought (as the issues it dealt with are real and happening today; wrongfully concealed from the N. American public, to a great extent).
Eye-opening. It makes you wonder how much is going on behind the scenes that you are unaware of; how far will one go to discover and uncover truths?
The original, featuring Angela Lansbury and Frank Sinatra, is equally interesting (esp. in black & white -- quite creepy and effective).
