Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Aki K — 24 Oct 2007
**** (out of four).
Great political thriller that stands nearly as thrilling today as it must have back in the early 1960's.
Laurence Harvey and Frank Sinatra are Korean Ward soldiers who are captured by the Chinese. When they are realeased and back in the U.S. their memories have been erased. But Sinatra begins to have nightmares as things start to come back.
Angela Lansbury also shines as Sinatra's mother in her best role.
