Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Drew S — 04 Feb 2008
John Frankenheimer's Cold War paranoia classic. Frank Sinatra is very good and Angela Lansbury is great but the film belongs to Lawrence Harvey who was perfectly cast as Raymond Shaw, a man brainwashed and programmed to be the ideal assasin.
Chilling stuff, you will never view the game of solitaire the same way again.
