Looking back, the premise of this film's plot seems somewhat rediculous, and its visual style is less than stunning. However, It does orchestrate some tense thrills and surprises. More importantly though, is the cynical political satire ingrained in the film, that remains relevant, and even a little disturbing, to this day.
