Its a good movie overall. A little slow and dull in some spots but the subject matter is great. There is a lot of good symbolism in the film through the use of Abraham Lincoln. Great performances from the main cast.
The remake was good with Denzel but it didnt quite have the same affect since this movie came out right before the assassination of JFK and communism was a bigger issue back when this movie takes place.
The new one couldn't quite harness the same fears that the original probably did for the viewers. Overal its a good film and worth seeing.
