Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Matt K — 12 May 2009
Not as suspenseful as I thought it would, but the dream sequences were bizarre and intriguing. I don't think enough was done with some of the characters, especially Angela Lansbury. I was very surprised with the amount of product placement.
Also, I'm not convinced that this movie isn't all about how Republicans suck bad, which left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a bad movie, though.
