Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Grant S — 06 May 2010
Original and interesting, but certainly not the classic it is made out to be. The plot drags at times, resulting in the pacing being off. Laurence Harvey is incredibly irritating in the lead role.
Frank Sinatra puts in a solid performance though and the plot is very original.
Better than the 2004 remake.
