Review of The Manchurian Candidate (1962) by Josh F — 11 Apr 2014
Inadvertantly underlines the specifics of the uglisness of captialism; Frank Sinatra would be so pissed had he gotten it... Apart from the politics (wich is the heart of the content) The forms of this movie are pretty impressive.
The direction is surreal and skizo, the acting goes along with it and the result is disquieting in a good way.
