Review of The Man Without a Past (2002) by Victor L — 26 Jul 2007
:fresh: The Man Without A Past is a clever and interesting experimental movie that tells us a cruel but potentially true story of a man who is assaulted and wildly hit in the head, losing memory. Little by little, this man recovers his life and falls in love with an altruist woman called Irma. The DVD box said the film was a comedy, and certainly is in some scenes but it is mostly a dramatic piece.
I'm not very used to stand european cinema because they have a very different way to develop their projects, anyway this one is fine and it was deservedly nominated to Oscar for Best Foreign Film (2003).
