Review of The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) by Kabir S — 28 Apr 2008
Sinatra actually can act! (See Can-Can for contrary evidence.) And quite well, too. Kim Novak is lovely. It's a sweet and moving picture, despite its somewhat odd and uncalled for ending. Was featured in the MoMA's series on films with jazz scores.
