Review of The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) by Patrick M — 05 Dec 2007
This was a really good movie. Sinatra is phenomenal, and he doesn't sing a note. It's an impressively accurate depiction of addiction and the battle for freedom. It reminded me of how movies today try to have realism, but forget they are entertainment.
This movie is entertainment, but does well with the realism.
