Review of The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) by Millo T — 18 Oct 2013
Frank Sinatra is a junkie trying to stay clean so he can be a jazz drummer. Kim Novak is the neighbor lady who loves him. And if you know Eleanor Parker only as Baroness Schrader from The Sound of Music, you'll be duly impressed by her here: she's Frank's wife, who pretends to be paralyzed to keep Frank from running out on her.
Better than you might think it would be.
