Review of The Man Who Would Be King (1975) by Keith C — 10 Jun 2007
I like this becauseit's about how fallible humanity is. A couple of ordinary fairly decent blokes end up as rulers of men in a remote Asian land. It's about how quickly they turn to using the power for their own ends - how easily absolute power corrupts them and how it leads to their own demise.
Because they begin to believe their own propoganda.
