Review of The Man Who Would Be King (1975) by Prasad P — 02 Nov 2008
A superb piece of filmmaking from Hollywood legend John Huston, with a perfectly cast Sean Connery and Michael Caine giving superb performances as two roguish English soldiers who journey north of India, to a place where no white man has been since Alexander the Great, in order to make their fortunes.
A brilliant examination of the nature of greed and the destructive nature of power. Superb!
