A great story brought stylishly to life (albeit black and white) by the Coen brothers. Brilliant cast, noir style, tight cinematography. There are a lot of reasons to love the work of Joel & Ethan Coen.
To sum up a main one for me - every scene has a purpose and no moment in their films is wasted. As they say, if a knife is introduced in the first act, its used by the third act. Well worth seeing!
