Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Marrteen B — 23 Jan 2008
Well written, incredibly well shot pulp crime melodrama. Could be called an adaptation of Ethan Coen's "Gates of Eden." Unlike Fargo or Barton Fink this film fails to give us any insight beyond the protagonist's wordy and unnecessary voice over confession.
