Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Tim E — 23 Aug 2014
An extremely tragic cautionary tale. It seems as if the directors are portraying their own crippling fears of upsetting the status quo here. After a while, it was hard to make sense about what the film was really about, besides the downward spiral of an innocent man.
The Man Who Wasn't There is good, not great. I've seen better Coen movies.
