Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Jasdeep C — 03 Sep 2008
As a fan of the Coen bros and their movies, this one just didn't do it for me. It was too self-consciously eccentric and esoteric for me. Billy Bob Thornton plays a man who had a marginal existence as a second barber and in an attempt to break out of his life, starts a chain of events that destroy all those he cares about.
Reminded me of Blood Simple, except it wasn't as good.
