How did I miss this one until now? Billy Bob Thornton, Francis McDormand, James Gandolfini, Scarlett Johansson...excellent cast. This 2001 Coen brothers film is shot as a classic 1940's film noir and is a very effective look at a man who doesn't live.
..he just exists. When he tries to change his life, he gets more than he bargained for. Great dialogue, excellent lighting, top-notch acting.
