An incredibly sylish noir from the Coens. Using black and white, the cinematography master Roger Deakins amazes me with his skill. Billy-ob Thornton gives an incredible performance as the mild mannered "modern man".
The plot is wonderfully twisty, and keeps you on your seat. Watch for the gay subtext.
