Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Keith M — 05 Aug 2010
Nice cinematography! That's about where my positive feedback ends. I like the fact that it was filmed in B&W. Story wise, I was pretty bored. I've given more than one watch because like so many other Coen Brothers movies, you sometimes need to watch it more than once to catch everything.
After second viewing, opinion hasn't changed. Decent acting, but again, the story didn't captivate me. Not the worst film I've ever seen, but far from my expectations. The Coens have done much better.
