Review of The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) by Rod H — 30 Jun 2013
This is the most overlooked Coen Brother flick I've seen. The performances are fantastic starting with Billy Bob Thornton. The photography is amazing and easily one of the best works of cinematography I have ever seen. However, it's the long elaborate story of how the movie comes to an end that makes this movie so incredible. It's complicated to follow, but it reality this is a complicated situation to be in especially for a guy who lives a life as simple as it can get.
It's a work of art. I can't give Billy Bob Thornton enough credit here - he made this film through his character.
