This is my favorite Western. You couldn't ask for better: Stewart, Wayne, Marvin, Vera Miles. Can you imagine what a movie would cost today putting together such a cast?
This is classic John Wayne -- "pilgrim," a quick kick from his boot, his swagger, his role as the quiet hero.
