Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Dave J — 28 Sep 2010
If you were to ask me to name the greatest westerns of all time, there would be no way I could leave this film off my list. It is everyone at the very top of their game. Even though they didn't need it, the presence of black and white, make the shadows very prominant and useful at the end.
One of the only Black and white films my children did not squirm through it.
