Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Bertie P — 13 Feb 2009
I think this is one of the best suspense films I have ever seen. There are shots in this film that make you cringe because they're simply so slow, which makes them almost PAINFULLY tense!
This gives me a problem. I love Strangers on a Train, but this is as good as that. The difficulty comes when someone asks me "which is your favourite Hitchcock film?" because I won't be able to reply. I simply can't tell you because I don't know myself.
