Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Patrick B — 29 May 2010
The characters are developed nicely, and both Stewart and Day give incredibly strong performances. They're a very believable couple. This isn't one of Hitchcock's best, but it's still a great film.
Hitchcock does some brilliant things with his camera to up the suspense, particularly in the Albert Hall climax. Overall, "The Man Who Knew Too Much" is a thrilling ride, and I loved how they tied everything together, even the "Que Sera Sera" song at the very end.
Very clever!
