Not too shabby a movie. Good, but didn't have that 'wow' factor. Hitchcock's direction is very thorough and precise. Very good use of time.
James Stewart is great. This is the first movie I've seen with him--his speech reminds me of Humphrey Bogart's. He's really pleasant to watch. Doris Day does a good job as well. Before it is told that she was a performer, I thought her singing was very good.
The ending (the very end) is pretty lame. I expected something bigger.
