Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Jeff Q — 01 Nov 2007
Maybe I'm expecting too much when I watch old "classics" with today's sensibilities. But TMWKTM is very average. The first 1/2 hour is chaulk full of story lines that could go anywhere, but as it gets going there are more plot holes than plot twists.
If this is the best that the 1950's could put out, then there must have been a lot of boring flicks at that time. The film could be shortened by at least a 1/2 hour.
