Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Vern H — 12 Dec 2012
A wonderfully directed, second-tier Hitchcock movie. Not one of his masterpieces, but good entertainment. I did find the story to be implausible. I enjoyed it more than I probably should have. James Stewart was his typically outstanding self, and Doris Day as his wife was pitch-perfect.
Bernard Hermann has a great score, and a cameo! Worth watching at least once.
