The Man Who Knew Too Little can probably be regarded as a turning point Murray's film career. These kinds of performances were really getting a little stale by 1997 and he needed a bit of a change. Its quite a tired old-fashioned farce about Murray getting involved in a political assassination while thinking he's in a public theatre performance. Its OK at best, but Murray has made much better films before this and has certainly since this.
More astute and culturaly minded cinema goers will enjoy the Cliff Parisi's performance AKA Minty from Eastenders.
