Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Seán C — 18 Jun 2007
I have seen this brilliant piece of work, infinitely better than the Walter Tevis novel on which it is based, 50 times or more since I was 13. Smart, prescient and very, very touching, with tremendous performances from David Bowie, Rip Torn, Candy Clark and the vastly underrated and overlooked Buck Henry, among others.
Absolutely stunning. My all-time favourite science fiction film.
