Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Gordon C — 27 Sep 2008
A movie which deals with the subject of alienation via the character of an alien. Within the oeuvre of Science Fiction this is an unusual take on the alien-visitor trope, since he doesn't come to Earth to conquer and eat us, nor to teach us how to be better people.
When I first saw this film back in the 70s I recall I found it tedious, but I was probably just too young to properly appreciate it.
