Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Mic R — 02 Jul 2011
Ah yes, the 70s before american blockbuster cinema arrived and britain was still (just about) making films. a very slow paced but thoughtful flick with some deep insight and equally some meandering, especially in the last thirty minutes.
I hadn't seen this for about 30 years and this time around I was actually able to follow the plot and other subtleties. be prepared for a screenful of 70s muff and deadwood presented in a matter-of-fact way and not the best accompaniment to your popcorn in HD.
if you like stuff like K-Pax this is worth taking a chance with.
