Review of The Man Who Cried (2000) by Laura A — 24 Jan 2008
I felt like this should have been a truly great film, but it missed it's mark, and for the 9 minutes or so that Johnny is onscreen, he dominates as he always does. Cristina Ricci goes through the movie looking like she has one expression, with huge puppy-dog eyes.
Yet, I cried my eyes out during the two climactic closings.
