Review of The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit (1956) by Mitsu C — 15 Dec 2007
Most of the piece is shrink wrapped in a thick layer of melodrama and an alien "formal address" demeanor typical of the era's classics. The score is downright distracting. But, underneath it all, some humanity shows.
Not much, but apparently just enough to leave me with a warm aftertaste. Much to my own surprise.
