Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Dave A — 16 Jul 2016
The Man From UNCLE was right there with I-Spy as a solid "B" series. After Bond, James Bond and Get Smart. Then there were the Dean Martin Matt Helm films and the James Coburn Derek Flint films.
Spies were everywhere in the '60's. I didn't get to watch the I-Spy or the UNCLE reruns. I've seen only one episode. It was a good episode and I liked Vaughn's Solo and McCallum's Ilya Kuryakin.
Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer capture the characters. The story is okay. I'd like to see a sequel.
