Review of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) by Jake C — 18 Jul 2018
It's as if the filmmakers cast their two leads, and figured that their chemistry would spill over into the rest of the film to make it somehow more interesting. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen, so that the considerable talents of Hammer and Cavill-both of whom embody these characters with such life that they nearly give the film the spark it so desperately needs-are for naught, and the movie is forgettable even as you're watching it.
