Review of The Man from Nowhere (2010) by Trent R — 22 Dec 2010
Incredibly derivative action melodrama that tries to elicit sympathy and tension by alternating child endangerment with overly staged and far too built up fights. Won Bin is alright at the stoic loner shtick, and there are some genuine emotional scenes with his young co-star.
But long before one can actually begin to care, the knives come out and things start to explode.
