Review of The Man from Nowhere (2010) by Reinis L — 26 Dec 2012
Finally got to see the movie. Where do I start off?
I never have high expectations for movies coming from the far east. Just because of The Raid and many others movies I really hated. This one has probably turned my opinion upside down.
I saw that it has a high rating there so why not watch it?
I loved the story. I haven't watched Taken yet but I read some reviews on there so I decided to watch it. I'll make sure to watch Taken later and compare it to this one.
It definitely wasn't easy to expect what could've happened, but the ending lacked something. I mean if it had what I was waiting for I'd give that movie 10/10 no matter what, but that just brings it back to the usual movie style.
Violence was definitely enough and while The Raid had disgusting ammounts of violence, there it was enough in the right in the right time.
Actors were rather amazing, since I've never heard of them.
And, yeah, this might be a story of a real situation happening now in the world, human trafficking is quite a huge problem.
