Review of The Man from Nowhere (2010) by Scubasteve Walter M — 23 Jun 2013
The premise looks like a typical action film yet as the story goes on you feel attached to it. Somehow back story of the hero and the kid connects the audiences' emotion to the tragedy. Though it is fiction, we know these things about stealing of organs, child trade and slavery exists.
I think that's the key that made this movie worthwhile. And man, those knife battles and fight scenes are outstanding. It's like he's the Liam Neeson of Asia. The only thing I find lame about this flick is the background of the hero, which is a very typical for action flicks; a specialized assassin? Wish there was something else more to it.
