Review of The Man from Laramie (1955) by Jonathan B — 15 Aug 2007
A classic Stewart/Mann western collaboration. I love the grittier Stewart roles that most people don't seem to be as familiar with, because the man can be completely badass when he wants to be. As far as this movie goes, it's darker, more pessimistic, and a little more violent than John Ford's westerns of the same era.
This is well worth the watch.
