Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by Lucian T — 08 May 2011
The story itself isn't a very complex one, as it's a thought that we at some point begin to fantasize about, however the parallels between story telling around a campfire led by the story teller are intriguing.
Life as one man knows it, events and people he has both known and read about. The acting was decent enough to convey the actual beauty of this film which is the words it gives you and the questions it brings.
If you enjoy "intellectual films" then this is definitely a must watch, however if you're looking for a fast paced film with some sort of grit, this is not the film for you in that moment.
