Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by David B — 31 Aug 2009

Really really enjoyed this one, it was a pleasure to sit and watch a film that did not rely on in your face special effects, or people runniong around with guns chasing spies through paris etc etc . Instead you were handed a group of intelligent people the characters are all teachers, who were given a set of ideas that not only made them think but makes you as the viewer think hard and deep all woven into a good story.

As others have said, yes this is very much a thinking man film and yes ok the production was a little low key but its the story and what it gives you, that made this film a joy to watch.
